Freedom

I love these pictures of our Trip to Colorado.  They give a certain peace

to my soul.  As I go through the pictures I am reminded of Gods grace

and love.  "By the grace of God" is a phrase that has summed up my life

at times.

All my days as mother and wife I will never
be the women that deserves this precious life....

In my Bible study in  IICor, I came across

this Scripture

2 Cor 3:17

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is

there is Freedom

I have been paralyzed so many times from my own sin.  Even after

repenting and drawing into that close sweet relationship with the

Lord.  I still lived as if I were tied to that sin.  I am not talking about

the consequences of sin here.  I mean the mental slavery that goes on in our

thoughts that keeps us chained.  That keeps us feeling worthless, helpless,

despising ourselves.  This scripture is one that spoke again to that part

of my soul that struggles with that kind of bondage.  This scripture, written

by Paul to the church in Corinth, just spoke so plainly to me.  God forgives

when we repent of our sin.  The Holy Spirit works through us to Free us,

not just from "whatever"  but He frees us to something.   Freedom to

be powerful, to stand up to a sinful nature, to love, to be loved and feel

love, to feel that and know that God saved us for a purpose.  Go out with

the Lord and be free to be what God intended you to be.
