The Old and the New and Intersession

So precious, God's gift of change.  So precious, God's gift of His Spirit.
So important to understand the transformation from the Old Testament
to The Gift of the New Testament and of Salvation.

In the Old Testament there was no helper.  No internal spirit of
God helping to mold and change into the likeness of God.  There
was no spirit for the God in Heaven to recognize.

In the New Testament, Christ's broken body gives us hope.  For the first time
we are given the Spirit, the helper.  Words like "the Spirit helps us in
our weakness"... "The Spirit intercedes for us through groans..."

Where would I be today without that intercession?

The Spirit was given to reshape, change, and reteach our hearts and
minds.  Without the Spirit that is given to us when we receive Christ,
change would be very difficult.  I am so thankful not to be living in
Old Testament times.  I need that "Internal working of
the Holy Spirit".

I am just so thankful today that the Lord had compassion.
So thankful that there is that Spirit that the Lord recongizes and
answers in times of need, times of praise, in times when
we don't even know exactly what we need.

Romans 8:26-27
... the Spirit helps us in our weakness.  We do not know
what we ought to pray for but the Spirit himself intercedes for us
through groans that words cannot express and He who searches our
hearts, knows the mind of the Spirit because the Spirit intercedes for
the saints in accordance to God's will.

So amazing, hard to believe, so undeniable, from what the
Scriptures tell us.  God is seeing you in your everyday life.
He knows what you need.  There is a Spirit of Him living
in each one that receives His Son.  The God of all that
is perfect and wonderous, the creator of all the universe
sees and loves you!

Isaiah 65:24
Before they call I will answer, while they are still speaking

I will hear.
