"Celebrating ?"

"Celebrating ?"

A dear friend of mine wrote this verse and a quick note on her FB page:
God Almighty takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked (Ezekiel 33:11).
He does not celebrate it at all. So why should we? Instead, what did Jesus
command of us?  To love our enemies, and to pray for those
who persecute us...

At first I was troubled, almost hurt, almost angry after reading these words.
It seemed  alittle unfair for anyone to post this.
Then the truth of Gods words gently began to sink in to my heart.
I began to listen to what God had to say.  And His truths
are clear and His promises are truths.  He doesn't celebrate at
a soul lost forever but He and the angels rejoice when one
comes to full knowledge of Him.
I was thankful she wrote it.  It put my heart back into alignment.

I am not excited to celebrate a soul lost in Hell forever.
I do understand the "Oh thank goodness he is gone" that others are feeling.
I have a family member that was killed during these attacks.
A good father,a loving  husband, torn from his family leaving a gaping whole.
He was a pilot of one of the planes. I definitely feel for them and the
closure that these families are feeling because of Bin Laden's death.

War is awful. We do celebrate our victories over the enemy.
Especially one who hated Jesus Christ and hunted down and
planned on ways of killing those who followed Christ.

I think we should not be too quick to judge anyone who is feeling
a sense of relief from his death.

Those who are truly "Celebrating" are just
not seeing the whole picture that Some of us are...

Upon the moment of death he realized that he did believe the lies of Satan
when Satan came to ask for his service.
That he choose willingly to be a vessel for Satan
His soul realized, as soon as death took him, there is only one true God.
His soul is lost  forever in torment.

This brings tears to my eyes.

We may have to look long and hard at ourselves if we would not
put out the eternal flames on the backs of our enemy's.

True he was someone so horrible, that he himself sent many many
unbelievers and believers alike to their death with out a second thought.
Left families forever feeling the loss of a loved one.

I am thankful he is no longer capable of doing that again.

But when you look through the eyes of Gods word we see
the eternal truth.

A soul lost forever in torment.

Be in prayer as to the best way to handle this news.
How do we show Gods light through what we say about it.
I know many of us will be.

Matt 5:43-46 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor

and hate your enemy.’  But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those
who persecute you,  that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.
He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the
righteous and the unrighteous.  If you love those who love you,
what reward will you get?
