Obstacles, Misadventures and Sacrifice

I love how God just shows himself in the small things that surround us in our every day.  I love the way He created this world to be continually before us in every way.

I struggle with the concept that God knows me so totally that He knows the very number of hairs on my head.  I struggle with being that loved, so much love that I can call Him friend.

I cry and I plead on so many occasions when really He has already answered my prayer.  If I would have faith of a mustard seed I would know and move in the right direction, for He is already there.

My God is a jealous God, so He often puts my misadventures in distress and they fail.  I once gave my soul to Him and He expects me to follow His word as if on a narrow trail.

I don't always have time to shut the world out completely and spend hour upon hour in His word.  But when I choose to put Him first, blessing and grace will be returned.

This Christian life is all about His grace, His completeness, His promises, His sacrifice.  We can choose to live bearing fruit and joyful or we can spend hours in distress, crying into the night.

I know pain will come, I know this way isn't supposed to be all singing and feeling unstoppable.  But God gave His son to pain and torture so we can smile and find peace in all of life's obstacles.

I have found grace in the hard moments of life.  I found when I'm in distress He will be there. Without me putting on my Jesus everyday, the simplest of life's complications would be too hard to bear.

I can relate to your post. I blog about this subject often: waiting on God, learning through trials, and praising Him in the storms. I'm glad you've found God's grace to get through. It's the only way to live!
