Psalm 91:1

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most

High will rest in the shadow of the

Almighty

This passage spoke to me this week.  I have found

that the days or even weeks that go by and are

uneventful, mundane, disastrous or even boring

are some where I didn't seek out God or His

Word.

For us, dwelling in the shelter, is that time

that we spend with Him.  When we are searching

for His will in His word.  When we leave that time,

we carry His presence as a umbrella, or "shadow"

that follows us through out our day.  A covering

to keep us safe and dry.  Protection, so that we

can accomplish with enthusiasm the tasks that have

been given to us. 

Only His spirit can give us courage, strength and spiritual

energy to live the life we are meant to.  Dwell with

Him for awhile each day. Carry His presence and

Spirit with us as we take care of our homes, work in

the workplace or attend school.  Be refreshed and renewed

each day by spending time with Him.
