I Wanted to Call My Mommy Today

I wanted to call my Mommy today

I wanted to call my Mommy today and if I got her

on the phone this is what I would say.

I have baby fever and Pms too.  I have eaten almost all

the Apple crisp that I baked just before two.

I put my baby to bed an hour before her

time was actually due.

I thought I might  need an hour to just

sit and cry, boo hoo.

 I asked my daughter to show her daddy what

she had just learned to read.

She just sat there blankly, and my

my temper started to steam.

Showed my husband the bag that took me hours to make
He glanced half a second said " That looks like Jan

Brady's for goodness sake".

 No I am not pregnant but when you eat that much

apple crisp your stomach may look that way.

Also,some girls I hardly know got together

and didn't even ask me to play.

Mommies are great to talk to especially about

days that are like these.

But really really, couldn't she be at home to

answer at least?

Most days I feel wonderful, no doom no gloom

Why this one,  its hard to say.

 I am just glad its almost over and tomorrow will

be a better day.
